My Story

With a trajectory marked by challenges and achievements, I built my career in the world of boxing, combining practical experience as a professional fighter with solid training as a coach.

I’m Marcos Sogabe, founder of Boxing Laboratory, and here I share a bit of my story, specializations, and certifications, which allow me to provide top-quality training to students of all nationalities.”

About

MARCOS SOGABE

I competed in professional boxing for over 10 years, accumulating experience in seven different weight classes, from super lightweight to heavyweight, winning important titles, such as the Naka Nihon Shinjin Tournament championship in 2011 (super lightweight, 63.5 kg) and in 2012 (welterweight, 66.6 kg).

I was a pioneer as the first Brazilian to join the Japanese boxing rankings in the middleweight division (72 kg). In addition to boxing, I also competed professionally in kickboxing.

My experience as an athlete includes fights in several weight classes: 63.5 kg, 66.6 kg, 69 kg, 72 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg, and heavyweight, which provides me with a broad and adaptable perspective on the training and physical and mental preparation of my students.
